Max Singularity
It's the morning after the biggest battle I have ever been apart of. Our corporation once again heeded the call for aid from our allies Electus Matari. I have been learning a lot from our friends, so when the ping came through, I welcomed it eagerly. This time it wasn't a military objective though, it was an opportunity to hit back at a very large and obnoxious thorn in the side of the cluster. That thorn would be none other than Snuffed Out. An announcement on Galnet was made by a famous capsuleer named Max Singularity, dubbed The Space Pope by the wider capsuleer community, stating that Snuffed Out was holding his structure to ransom. Located in the Basgerin system, it is a cul-de-sac low-security system and home to several Sixth Empire freeports that many use due to its central proximity in the cluster.

There were many factions flying different banners in the system last night, a few groups we even had set to red. All were as far as we knew, here to defend the structure. As the structure repair timer came online local spiked marking the arrival of the aggressors. To no one's surprise, they had brought capital ships and titans. Maybe expecting the defenders to field a larger fleet or as a show of force I don't know, but it was clear they were going to complete their objective. As much as I and many of our allies would have liked to see it survive, our goal in this fight was to take down as many Snuffed Out members and war targets as possible. Much like the fight before in Ardar, it still amazes me how the FCs like Captain Elkin manages to process all the information. In the end, we did manage to destroy a handful of ships only losing a few ourselves, but the outcome was what we expected.

Time will tell if Snuffed Out, riding on this high will attempt to attack more of the structures in the system. But it is my hope that more will come to lend aid to the defense of those than can not.
